Brian Blue, 1st design

The Chin points the wrong way making Her head is too big and the chair she was in disappeared during coloring.

This is Brian Blue, The 2nd born of the Brian Bots and the most Human out of all of them, both in function and Looks.
I created her just yesterday, mainly because I need just one more character for this story. She serves the same Purpose as Brian White, but she's much more indulgent (She's drinking Vodka out of a teacup) and loose and selfish. I've probably made her more dangerous than Brian white.

After 2 generations of Nintendo's competition calling the big N "Kiddie" ... this happens. Not that Ratchet and Clank is Kiddie, by no means no, But I'd hardly call most of Nintendo's franchises kiddie either.
It's poetically Ironic how many Parallels the PS3 has Drawn to the N64, though. This has proven to be a very interesting system war. None the less, the only thing I have against Sony is their Pompous marketing team. I'm still not sure which "sister system" I'll get with the Wii (if I can afford one).

Younger Brian Green

This is how Brian Green Looks just before she deserts and meets up with Bridgette.
I'm using the story of WHY she deserts the other Brian Robots for a writing assignment in my english clash so I'll be sharing that very soon.

Brain Green is ready

Brian Green in her "natural" look. I made quite a few improvements from the last time I drew this. So now instead of a forest sprite look she seems more commando-ish, but it does work a lot better.
This is how Brian Green Looks before she leaves the Brian Robots (except she's younger, her hair is longer, and their isn't any red color in her bangs.)

Concept in Progress for Brian Red

He's a little too Casey Jones as of right now, but I think I finally got his mask just the way I wanted it. It's supposed to resemble a spartan helmet, but as only a face mask. This is basically a combination of a hokey mask and a spartan helmet.

Rest of him still needs to be reworked, though. I might keep the big feet, but He'll definitely have a shirt.

As for who he is, he was the closest friend to the very very young Brian Green, but his story doesn't come up for a while.

Legend of Luik is Finally up

It feels to good to finally have this finished. I'm just going to shout it everywhere.

2 days to Luik!

Crap...

I gave myself 5 months for some extra production stuff, and I didn't spend a minute on it. But at least I'm comfortable with uploading to NGs now.

A few things I was going to have was a fully menued version of all the "Cast of Luik" submissions I've made, but Instead I decided to just take all the existing ones and rewrite them as a prologue.

I also had a great Epilogue planned out, but I never got around to doing it. To be honest, I think I was dragging the story out a bit too much. So I cut the Epilogue, and Instead I'll just be using this picture:
It's a MUCH older Lily (19, or 20) with someone much shorter. I'll reveal who it is when I fully color the image tomorrow. I might have to pull an all nighter to make sure this gets up on the 25. it WILL reach Newgrounds by the 25!

Odd sketch

I don't draw myself often, because I never get it right. This time I think I got it pretty well. I found a good reference and decided to use it to draw me. It worked out better than most times I've drawn myself, but I still don't think it's quite right... It's not nearly ruggedly handsome enough. :)

Fully Colored Brian Robots

So Here's the finished version of this little thing here. The Scientist there is still a pretty under developed character so his pose kind of sucks right now- At this point his name is Eloy Porfirio.
Then we have Brian Black, who at a very impressionable stage of her life is imitating everything Porfirio is doing. She also has that Zany thread ability you see in Japanese cartoons often, and she can turn her head 360 degrees.
And finally, Brian White. Brian White is the most robot-ish of the Brians, her being the first successful model. And for no reason at all, I'm going to color her a flat white and have a radial shadow around her at all times. It may be the best stupid idea I've ever had.


And if your wondering why I'm drawing this all of the sudden there is one big reason It came to my attention that the Impossible Mission remake is appearantly hitting US shores in less than a month (Even though it was supposed to come out last January.
What better way to celebrate a mad scientist with a tower full of robots than... well you get the idea.

But What I'm really waiting for is a remake of IM2, which as it turns out is the game that actually played when I was four...

I swear to all that is good and holy, this item is in FFXII. You can find it in a port town that was founded by pirates.

More to the point, though, my humors turned really... dirty. All of it is indirect and implied, but still, I have felt a little odded that I've drawn this stuff.

More Kanji inspired practice

Decided to try more drawing characters as if they were a Letter. There's some details in the middle I added in afterwords, but for the most part I followed the letter pretty well. It looks better than just stick figures, and it's actually easier to draw than a stick figure.

Magic 8 Ball Kanji Girl

I took Japanese in High School and one of the biggest problems I had was Kanji. It's been 2 and a half years and I'm pretty sure I can only remember 30 of those characters (and by my last year of that class I only knew about 70).

I did take one thing from all that Kanji stuff, though. All the practice righting all those characters affected the way I draw- which makes sense, since much of the characters in Kanji are super simplified drawings.

Magic 8 Ball Girl is the most Blatant example of this, take a look:



Now you can practice drawing your own M8B Girls, and the little helpfull information at the top will enable you to use her in a sentence.

And I've decided that her Japanese name is "8 Ball: Girl of Magic!"

Minty Green Black

When We last left Brian Black, she looked a little something like this.

As I said back then, I wanted to give her off color skin, just Like how Brian Green has Grey Skin. However, yellow didn't really work very well for her. So I'm trying mint Green: Some might say it looks a little frankestienish, but to those people I say... um... shut up.

Brians Black and White

So I started thinking about how I haven't done framing in a long time, and so I decided to do some framing again. It's Brian Black, Brian White, and a man I'm currently calling Dr. Legacy Failiur. I'll probably change that one, I really haven't thought too much into him.
This guy in the middle here may end up being an important character to BBB2, but... I don't really like him. I still need to work on him some more, but I felt this might help him develop a little more.

Really like how Brian Black turned out, though. She's somewhere around the Age of 5, but she's supposed to seem like she's grown up too fast, only slightly. She also has that little lost-in-her-own-world look.

White is supposed to have that sort of full body design too her, but it looks like she doesn't have anything on at all. I'll have to work on that.

I've been Neglecting frames lately

Lately, instead of useing frames and building off them, I've been using solid strokes as if my drawings were calligraphy or something. I still have a mental idea of what the frames should look like, but I can't help but wonder if this is a step foreward for me or a step back.

Um... what happened?

So I'm about to get back into fire emblem, when I start selecting a file and, Wouldn't you know it. The game's save data was on the level After the last one I was one.
Either somebody (who doesn't have the balls to admit it) decided to play through my game and save as well, Or the game was so tired of waiting for me that they just finished the level themselves.

On that note, I might just try to make Don Coyote this winter. It wouldn't be too hard, but with the Wii version of Twilight princess, I can't use the camera control. Oh well, I'll give it a shot, I guess. I'll tell you if I start on it.

Here's how out of ideas I am.

Sin and Punishment comic on the Tutorial Level. There's a little Dust monster that Tells you how to play the game, and then out of nowhere a Giant one comes up and is all GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY DAUGHTER!! Which made me wonder what Kind of Person the main character is if dustball monsters don't trust him with their kids.

I might expand on this one.
